Macarena es abogada de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y LL.M. en Derecho Ambiental cum laude por Vermont Law School. Con más de 12 años de trayectoria, ha liderado asuntos corporativos, regulatorios, ambientales, de cumplimiento y sostenibilidad en multinacionales y estudios jurídicos de primer nivel.

Her career spans high-impact projects in telecommunications, mining, energy, and infrastructure, where she has been recognized for her strategic vision, negotiation skills, and ability to build trust-based networks with authorities, communities, and businesses. Acknowledged in the GC Powerlist Legal500 (2023) for her leadership in the region.

Macarena expanded her professional practice in 2024 by obtaining certification from the International Mediation Institute. Since 2025, she has led Mediaria, a hub dedicated to mediation, prevention, and conflict management in corporate, commercial, regulatory, and socio-environmental matters. Her purpose is clear: to transform conflict into an opportunity for understanding, collaboration, and sustainable solutions — bringing innovation and a human touch to every process.
